The company is seeking an experienced Director of Equipment Engineering to support our growing Toner manufacturing operations in Lawrenceville. In this fast-paced, high-output environment, the Director of Equipment Engineering will direct the development, implementation and optimization of manufacturing equipment engineering plans, methods and processes and the selection, installation, maintenance and repair of equipment.

Responsibilities include:
Model the safety first behaviors we expect of all associates by ensuring that operational procedures, equipment, and processes are designed to provide a safe work environment.
Direct the implementation of safety initiatives and monitor department achievement to objectives and targets.
Direct and develop the Equipment Engineering and Equipment Maintenance groups.
Develop, recommend and implement process and/or equipment engineering plans to meet production objectives within Company standards and reduce operating costs.
Direct the research, recommendation and selection of the most appropriate and cost-effective manufacturing methods and processes, and equipment, tools and systems.
Direct the development and implementation of new processes and equipment. Monitor installation and testing. Evaluate results and determine that processes and equipment function properly for turnover to production.
Promote 5S and Kaizen and oversee the implementation of modifications to process and equipment to improve quality & process yields, OEE, cycle time, and minimize equipment failure and downtime.
Review and analyze performance data for engineering department to identify trends, problems, and opportunities and recommends changes in methods and approach to problem-solving.
Consolidate engineering reports and prepare presentations to inform management of progress and problems.
Implement, promote and monitor the effectiveness of corporate systems and programs.
Maintain system to control Product Specifications, standards, and procedures

Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelors degree in engineering required, preferably in Electrical, Controls or Mechatronics.
Minimum of 8 years experience in equipment engineering in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years of management experience required.
Experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance is a plus.
Must have advanced knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to the production of various goods.
Must have strong leadership, project management, communications, decision making, and presentation skills.
Advanced problem solving skills needed to resolve complex and/or high impact process and quality problems, often requiring collaboration with other departments, customers or vendors.
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills at intermediate level, along with experience in writing procedures and presentations.
